Wiring, Solder /Assembler Tech.

Responsibilities: Wiring Assembling, limited testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting electronic assemblies.  Utilizing proper tools, equipment and processes, assemble Chassis Components and Electronic Assemblies from various forms of documentation and quality specifications.


  • Assemble components into housing/s & Sub assemblies making required interconnections using soldering, crimping, and other techniques as specified, working to Class 3 workmanship standards. IPC J-STD-001
  • Fabricate Cable assemblies using soldering, crimping, and other techniques as required to IPC-A-610 & IPC/WHMA-A- 620 standards.
  • Soldering wires of 32AWG under a microscope, as required.
  • Assembling products or sub-assemblies in a clean room manufacturing environment, according to verbal or written instructions or following drawings, and/or predefined assembly procedures.
  • Working to very tight tolerances on assembled parts.
  •  Operate hand tools, power tools, and/or production equipment to include manual and automated testing.
  • Testing devices to include Environmental/Temperature/Vibration Stress screening.
  •  Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  •  Accurately record as-built information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics, into computer databases to comply with customer requirements.
  •  Assist other technicians/team mates, as required, with assembly processes and tasks.


  • Minimum of 5 years wiring assembly experience, soldering/working under a microscope. This is a MUST.
  • Current Certification in high reliability electronic wiring assembly (Class 3) processes, as described in J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620.
  • Ability to interpret various forms of assembly documentation.
  • Must have excellent workmanship skills.
  • Must have VERY high attention to detail.
  • Must have current passport, or be able to acquire one within 90 days of employment.
  • Meet passing requirements to obtain a Security clearance.
  • Excellent communication skills, self motivated, capable of multitasking.
  • Must be adaptive to a high volume production environment, and integrate as an active team member, with a positive can do attitude.
  • Ability to handle materials safely and lift up to 20 lbs.
